About Circle Power

Our team at Circle Power brings 68 years of combined experience in the renewables and power industry, supporting the development and operations of several thousand megawatts of power projects worldwide.

Our Story

Recognizing the need for locally-focused development, Jordan Roberts and Carlos Hunter founded Circle Power Renewables in Michigan in 2017. Since then, Circle Power has developed a diverse pipeline of projects including Groveland Mine Solar, a grid-connected solar facility that will be sited on a former iron ore mine in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

A Commitment to Community

Circle Power is committed to partnering with communities. We pioneered the Property Tax Guarantee, backed by contracts with local governments to ensure they receive predictable revenues from projects we develop. We believe communities should benefit from hosting renewable energy projects as a core value of our company.

Together, we are committed to partnering with communities.
